We want to empower the Next Generation to advocate and shape their future!

Next Gen Study

The Next Generation Study 2019, co-created by Wholistic Coachsulting and AIESEC Hong Kong, is the leading study in Hong Kong.

The research asked 600+ young adults aged 16 to 38 about their preferences and priorities in various aspects of life.

The aim is to receive and provide valuable insights about Hong Kong’s Millennial and GenZ generations to society, employers, government and educators.

The key is to foster generational diversity and inclusion as a key pillar for individual and corporate success and growth.

How to Thrive as a Misfit

Most people have had the experience of feeling like a complete misfit at least once in their lives.

“Even if others labelled me as a misfit, I had to transform these perceived adversities into my advantages—by viewing my minority characteristics as a gift. After years of struggling with this label, I have come to see it as a door opener rather than a burden.” - Fyiona Yong

As a Third Culture Individual born in Malaysia and raised in Germany—and as an Asian female Millennial who conspicuously stood out in a traditional business environment— the author Fyiona Yong appeared to be a Fortune 500 company’s ultimate “diversity hire”. Forced to wonder whether she was employed less for measuring up and more for sticking out, Fyiona began to see the need for herself and misfits everywhere to transform adversities into advantages.

Leaving a successful 14-year corporate career to pursue a new role as an entrepreneur, corporate leadership trainer and coach, Fyiona has devoted her life’s work to helping people unleash their innate strengths and talents to be the best versions of themselves. She has been a TEDx speaker twice and was featured on the media and press including Forbes and Financial Times to share insights on leadership and generational diversity and inclusion.

Blending her personal stories with clear business strategies, HOW TO THRIVE AS A MISFIT shares Fyiona’s thoughts and guidance on leveraging and embracing our differences instead of hiding behind them.
